Each child is a unique individual and comes with distinctive needs for development. Miss Linda's Little Sprouts recognizes and works closely with each child's personal growth. I am committed to providing a loving environment where children develop their social skills, and learn to explore the world through their many senses. I have created a welcoming, constructive environment geared towards stimulating children cognitively, physically, and socially. It is through play, that a child will build their natural need for exploration, imagination, and discovery.

The 1:4 maximum capacity of infant-toddler ratio provides a unique and personal environment, allowing for close and loving attention to every child's needs.

Miss Linda practices a calming, encouraging approach to boost your child's natural curiosity. With gentle, caring guidance and freedom to discover, each child has the opportunity to explore a child-led learning experience.

Experience a true home-like feel, where early friendship bonds develop. Your child’s sense of belonging is naturally enhanced as they embrace their own unique self, while gaining awareness of others. It is not uncommon for new and established friendships to continue well beyond the program.

Miss Linda's Little Sprouts' small close-knit family child care provides consistent loving and sensitive care, responsive to their signals and needs in all within a nurturing environment. Miss Linda works in partnership with you to grow and nurture your bundle of joy.

Children (where age appropriate) have full access to a dedicated sensory section and table where they are acquainted with sorting and patterning through the exploration of identifying differences in smells, textures and sizes, naming objects, and repeating these actions.

They are also introduced to a daily rhythm of events, to feel a sense of safety and control.

Children are encouraged to manipulate materials through their senses, further learning cause and effect by making important connections physically and cognitively.

As children grow, they are encouraged to learn awareness of themselves and their emotions.

How to interact and bond with others, making some of their very first friends here at daycare.

How to communicate effectively with sounds, expressions, body language, and finally, verbal language.

Located in a very large designated room, is a bright and cheery playroom filled with age-appropriate discovery materials... ie. a wide variety of learning toys, a book corner to encourage language and picture recognition, and a sensory center supporting problem solving and fine motor skills.

There is a large, soft area for children to practice their developmental milestones transitioning from rolling over, to crawling, to walking and from walking to running.

For young infants, tummy-time is a regular activity. Activity floor mats are available to encourage early cognitive development.

Song, dance, and movement is daily encouraged for young toddlers to not only develop their physical well-being and body coordination, but also literacy development.

Creative arts is offered to older toddlers with child-readiness.

Large motor-skill activities are available in an additional indoor playroom with a playhouse, slide, and bikes.

A spacious, outdoor backyard allows for fresh air, sunshine, and many fun in the sun activities!

Miss Linda is Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid Certified by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority.

Fire and Earthquake drills and evacuations are performed and documented monthly.

All door handles, drawers, and electronic plugs are child-safety proofed.

Secure areas that keep children constantly within sight.

All children follow safety food guidelines provided in the parent policy agreement.

Parents and children have the assurance of safe access while entering and exiting the home. Only authorized persons may enter, using a unique pin number, in a secure entry system.

Communication with parents is one of my top priorities to ensure the best outcome for your child's growth and development.

A time-log of feedings, diaper changes, nap-times, notes, messages, and photos are available every day. This is to support and guide your child's follow up routine at home.

Open dialogue is always available with Miss Linda to discuss anything relating to your child.
